Introducing Live in WLG

In September we launched our new events marketing campaign ‘Live in WLG’, developed to help promote events held in our venues and wider Wellington.

Live in WLG will see $300,000+ invested in promoting events in Wellington to help connect audiences with great live experiences, to support our clients and partners in marketing their events and to reinforce Wellington’s reputation as the cultural capital.

Live in WLG includes:

  • A new fortnightly events guide. You can sign up to receive this here
  • Seasonal event videos – promoted via digital channels
  • Seasonal street poster campaigns in Wellington featuring multiple events
  • A native media partnership with Fairfax (Your Weekend and Stuff)

The results so far:

  • The email guide is performing well with an average open rate of 39% (industry average is 12%)
  • More than 100,000 people watched our first video
  • The sponsored content on achieved 6,742 page views
  • Thousands of event tickets sold
