Live in WLG performing well

Since launching in September 2017, our Live in WLG events marketing campaign continues to perform well.

Our new events brand and marketing campaign was launched in September 2017. Live in WLG is designed to promote events in our venues and the wider Wellington area, help connect audiences with great live experiences, support our clients and partners in marketing their events and reinforce Wellington’s reputation as the cultural capital.

The campaign includes:

  • A fortnightly events eNewsletter. You can sign up to receive this here 
  • Seasonal event videos – promoted via digital channels
  • Seasonal street poster campaigns in Wellington featuring multiple events
  • A native media partnership with Fairfax (Your Weekend and Stuff)

Since launching, we’ve delivered three seasonal phases of the campaign - Spring (Sep - Nov 2017), Summer (Dec 2017 - Feb 2018) and Autumn (Apr - May 2018). Some of the results so far:

  • The fortnightly eNewsletter has a steadily growing database
  • Monthly Live in WLG advertorials have been placed in Your Weekend to a readership of 161,000 per edition
  • Sponsored content on in February delivered 269,000 impressions and 10,000 page views
  • The Autumn video is performing better than previous videos, achieving 38,900 completed views at the half-way point
  • Thousands of event tickets sold
