Health & safety

We’re passionate about the safety and wellbeing of our community and everyone we work with in our venues.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 came into effect on 4 April 2016.

As a PCBU (Persons Conducting a Business or Undertaking), we have a duty of care to provide a healthy and safe environment for persons entering our venues — whether that’s our workers, clients, service delivery partners, suppliers, guests, visitors and others.

We’re committed to working with you to ensure the health and wellbeing of you and your workers while in our venues. We believe in the importance of engaging in proactive conversations with all of our hirers and suppliers to ensure everyone is on the same page, and we are doing all that we can to ensure a safe and successful event.

Health and Safety induction

In order to provide a safe environment in our venues, we will consult, co-operate and co-ordinate with all the PCBUs we have a relationship with, to ensure we work together with the common goal of a healthy and safe working environment.

This induction will help prepare you for working in our venues in a safe and healthy way; however, it does not replace the need for you to understand the risks and hazards associated with your business, and to manage them effectively.

Health and safety is everyone’s responsibility. We all have the right to a healthy and safe work environment, and the only way we can achieve this is by working together.

Every person working at our venues must complete this induction prior to starting work.
